Caleb Dukes is an award-winning, New York City-based playwright and (sometimes) actor/director with a creative focus on social justice and dark comedy. After graduating cum laude from Rice University in 2022, they began their current journey at the Actor’s Studio Drama School, working towards an MFA in playwriting. Their work has been performed throughout Texas and New York, at venues such as The Tank, The Secret Theater, and The Hudson Guild. They are an associate of The Dramatists Guild of America.

Daisy Theatricals presents a staged reading of The Feminine Urge by Caleb Dukes, directed by Allyson Broyles, at New York City Center on July 21st at 7:30 pm. The burgeoning theatre company, founded to uplift the voices of writers and foster community, will produce Caleb Dukes’ undergraduate thesis play, free to attend, in order to assist in further development. Content warning for extreme violence and sexual acts.
